"There is a 'regulation on execution' that the government has been long keeping on the agenda but has not yet brought to the Parliament.

"Political prisoners will be excluded from this regulation... The sentences given for judicial crimes will be almost reduced by half.

"While a prisoner given a life sentence in a political case will serve five sixth of this term behind bars, a thief, a fraud will serve half of this term in prison. No one talks about this injustice..."

Ahmet Bilge has been behind bars over the past 26 years. He is currently in Elbistan Type E Closed Prison. The above remarks are from his latest letter to bianet. He has sent us the following drawings:
