Two Privates, a Military Officer, a Police Officer and a Civilian Die

In Gabar Mountain of Şırnak province, a city in southeastern Turkey, an armed attack was organized by PKK against gendarmerie.  Two privates and a military officer lost his life during the armed conflict.

There is no information about the casualties.

A specialized sergeant was injured in another district of Şırnak province

Unidentified persons opened fire with long barreled weapons against soldiers who were controlling the road in Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak province. A specialized sergeant was injured.  He has been treated in the hospital.

A police officer and a civilian were killed in Diyarbakır

In Diyarbakir province, a city in southeastern Turkey, unidentified persons opened fire against a police vehicle. A police officer, Mehmet Uyar and a passerby, Osman Caran lost their lives. A citizen named İbrahim Turan was injured and has been treated in the hospital.

Special operation policemen and Anti-terror Branch teams launched an operation to catch the perpetrators. (AS/EKN/BD)
