#NoToHomelandSecurityAct By Covering Faces

Human rights advocates and academicians started sharing their photos to protest the ongoing legislation of Turkey’s new Homeland Security Act. 

As the aforementioned law’s (no 2559) articles are being discussed at the Parliament, civic response is gradually rising. 

As of early yesterday, the first 10 articles of the act have been legislated with the votes of deputies from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). 

Human rights advocates and academicians started sharing their photos to protest the passing of Turkey’s new Homeland Security Act - a series of regulations that impose 3 to 5 years of prison sentence for covering faces during demonstrations.
