An exhibition on migration through the eyes of 50 artists: The Other Stories

With the aim of raising awareness and publicity about migration and refugees, the works of 50 artists in different disciplines from Turkey and abroad will be on view at "The Other Stories" exhibition.

BİLGİ Center for Migration Research, in collaboration with Koridoor Contemporary Art Programs, ArtHereIstanbul, Art4me, Association for Migration Research (GAR), Support to Life Association, Research Centre on Asylum and Migration (IGAM), Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants and BİLGİ European Institute, organizes the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open at the santralistanbul Campus Energy Museum of Bilgi University from December 16, 2021 to February 7, 2022.

"The Other Stories" exhibition focuses on the internal and transborder aspects of migration via stories reflected by artists.
Organized by Dr. Lecturer Gülay Uğur Yüksel from the BİLGİ Center for Migration Research and curated by Denizhan Özer, the exhibition presents the works of 50 artists from different disciplines in painting, sculpture, photography, installation, drawing, video art and performance.

As part of the exhibition, a book featuring artists' works as well as the articles of academics and the organization's shareholders will be published.
