More than half the votes were counted by 11 pm. At the province municipal council level, the AKP now stand at 39, the CHP at 21, the MHP at 17, the DTP and the SP at 6 percent.
At 11 pm, 55.45 percent of the votes in all of Turkey have been counted. The local election results so far have shown that four parties are sharing most of the votes: the Justice and Development Party (AKP), the Republican People's Party (CHP), the National Movement Party (MHP), and the Democratic Society Party (DTP). Fifth is the Felicity Party (SP).
