International GLB Meeting on Media

Kaos Gay and Lesbian Cultural Studies and Solidarity Foundation organizes for a second year the International Meeting Against Homophobia. This years main theme will be media. The meeting will be held between May 17-20 in Ankara.

Kaos Gay and Lesbian Cultural Studies and Solidarity Foundation (KAOS) has devoted the main theme of its second "International Meeting Against Homophobia" to media.

The meeting, which will be held between May 17 and 20 in Ankara, consists of workshops, conferences and arts and culture activities.

International gay and lesbian media as well as alternative and mainstream media outlets will gather for a forum where existing problems and opportunities on their attitudes towards gays and lesbians in the society would be discussed.

Gay and lesbian groups and associations around the country will also come together to share experiences. One other forum will be held at venues in three universities to embrace the students.
