Two bombs exploded in Güngören in Istanbul with 15 dead and 150 injured. No one has assumed the responsibility for the explosions yet.

The bombs exploded in two garbage bins on Menderes Street  in Güven neighborhood.

After the first explosion, people gathered around the explosion site and then another bomb exploded.

Governor Muammer Güler said that the first one was a sound bomb and the second one was a fragmentation bomb. Police is checking the Mobese camera records.

According to a witness who told what happened to bianet:

“I was sitting near the telephone boot. I heard the first explosion and ran towards the sound. 7 minutes later, another bomb exploded. I fell back three meters. The second explosion caused heavy injury. When the first bomb exploded, everyone ran towards the scene. That is why the number of dead and injured is so high.”

Governor Güler was protested when he arrived at the scene. Police had to interfere with the crowd.  The cellular phones did not work at the scene. The security measures were increased in case of other explosions. The governor asked the media not to publish inhumane images. (EZÖ/TB)
